[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 20일 경남도 지자체 최초로 ‘제1기 장애인 복지증진 종합계획’ 수립을 위해 진주시장애인복지위원회 심의를 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 종합계획은 장애인과 비장애인이 모두 행복한 장애친화도시 진주라는 비전과 ‘장애인이 살기 좋은 행복도시 구현’을 목표로 향후 5년간 복지정책 방향을 제시했다.
종합계획은 다각적 복지서비스 제공, 실질적 지원체계 구축, 협동적 사회문화 조성, 장애친화적 환경 조성, 선제적 제도개선 마련 등 5대 전략을 중심으로 총 40개 세부과제를 담았다.
또 장애인 복지증진 종합계획에는 21개 신규 과제를 포함해 다양한 혁신 복지정책을 제시한 것이 특징이다.
주요 혁신과제는 청년장애인 자산형성 자립적금 지원 등 ‘진주형 정책 6개 사업’을 비롯해 스마트 AI 재활치료기 도입, 장애인 e-스포츠대회 개최 등 첨단기술 기반 복지도입이 포함됐다.
특히 발달장애인 복지관 설립, 고령장애인 쉼터 운영 등 돌봄서비스 확충과 휠체어리프트 버스 도입 등 장애친화적 환경개선도 추진할 예정이다.
