[브레이크뉴스 양주=김완영 기자] (사)한국예총 양주지회(회장 서순오)가 주최한 ‘(BARRIER-FREE FILM FESTIVAL)’가 지난 22일 관객들의 뜨거운 호응 속에 막을 내렸다.
올해 영화제는 장애와 비장애의 경계를 넘어 모두가 함께 영화를 즐기고 소통하는 ‘배리어프리 문화’의 가치를 강조하며 풍성하고 수준 높은 작품들로 호평을 받았다.
개막과 함께 진행된 시상식에서는 다양한 장르와 메시지를 담은 단편영화들이 주목을 받으며 수상의 영광을 안았다.
올해 금상은 김홍량 감독의 「소하리아이들 1968」이 선정되며 작품성과 완성도를 동시에 인정받았다. 은상은 이민서 감독의 「골볼」, 동상은 최유정 감독의 「순천」(順天/順川)에 돌아갔으며, 감독의 창의성과 표현력을 평가하는 감독상은 설춘화 감독의 「실종」이, 연기 부문에서는 나기수 배우가 「출근」으로 남우주연상을, 천인서 배우가 「64테라」로 여우주연상을 각각 수상했다. 특별한 메시지와 공익적 가치를 담은 작품에 수여되는 특별상은 김현균 감독의 「나의 해방일지 1968」이 수상했다.
영화제 관계자는 “올해 영화제는 다양성과 포용이라는 배리어프리 정신을 더욱 폭넓게 실현한 해였다”며 “모든 시민이 예술의 장벽 없이 문화를 향유할 수 있도록 앞으로도 꾸준히 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
제6회를 성공적으로 마무리한 양주배리어프리단편영화제는 앞으로도 지역 문화예술 발전과 더불어 모두가 함께 웃고 감동하는 영화 축제로 자리매김할 것으로 기대된다.
