브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넷마블은 MMORPG ‘RF 온라인 넥스트(RF ONLINE NEXT, PC/모바일)’에 신규 지역 ‘팔레오스’ 등 대규모 업데이트를 진행했다고 10일 밝혔다.
신규 지역 ‘팔레오스’는 노바스 월드 북구에 위치한 설원 지역으로, 월드맵 기준 최북단에 위치해 있다.
이용자들은 설원·서리숲·해협·폐광산·아케인 유적지 등 총 5개 지역으로 구성된 ‘팔레오스’에서 필드 몬스터와 신규 보스 ‘오르쿠스’, ‘메카닉 커럽터’ 등을 통해 신규 희귀·영웅 장비 아이템 등 다양한 보상을 획득할 수 있다.
신규 지역 오픈과 함께 메인·서브·국가 퀘스트가 확장되고, 탐사 지도, 탐사 보고서, 특수 수집품 등의 콘텐츠가 추가됐다.
신기 던전 ‘바빌론 점령전’도 새롭게 업데이트됐다. 신기 던전은 2개 월드가 매칭돼 진행되는 콘텐츠로, 각 월드 내 2개 서버가 한 팀으로 구성돼 다른 월드와 경쟁하게 되며 서버별로 총 200명이 참여할 수 있다.
콘텐츠는 PvP(Player VS Player)와 PvE(Player VS Environment)가 결합돼 순차적으로 진행되며, 70레벨부터 입장할 수 있다. 또한, 신기 던전 특성상 MAU(Mechanic Armor Unit)를 활용하지 않을 시 디버프가 적용된다.
