대통령실이 11일 통룬 시술릿 라오스 국가 주석 내외가 오는 14~15일 공식 방한한다고 전했다.
강유정 대변인은 이날 오후 서면 브리핑에서 "통룬 주석 방한·한·라오스 정상회담은 양국 간 협력을 더욱 공고히 하면서 양국 관계 발전 견인 계기가 될 걸로 기대한다"며 이같이 전했다.
라오스 국가 주석 방한은 12년 만의 양자 방한으로 한·라오스 재수교 30주년을 맞아 이뤄진 것이다.
한·라오스 정상은 오는 15일 정상회담을 갖는 가운데 정치·안보·교역·투자 분야를 비롯 온라인 스캠범죄 등 초국가 범죄 대응 협력·인프라·공급망·인적 교류 등이 협의될 예정이다.
