【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 남구가 지난 8일 대덕문화전당에서 ‘이웃을 사랑하는 마음은 무한대’를 슬로건으로 2025년 남구지역사회보장 성과보고회를 개최했다.
이번 행사는 동 지역사회보장협의체 출범 10주년을 기념하고 그동안의 성과와 향후 비전을 공유하는 자리로 마련됐다.
이날 행사에는 조재구 남구청장을 비롯해 설찬수 남구지역사회보장협의체 민간위원장, 김시호 동 지역사회보장협의체 위원장 네트워크 대표 등 주요 관계자와 명예사회복지공무원, 주민 등 600여 명이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다.
참석자들은 지난 10년간의 협의체 활동을 돌아보고, 향후 남구 복지정책의 추진 방향에 대해 의견을 나눴다.
남구 13개 동 지역사회보장협의체는 그동안 주민이 주체가 된 민관협력 체계를 구축해 고독사 예방, 복지사각지대 발굴, 마을복지 특화사업 등 다양한 사업을 펼쳐 왔다. 남구는 이러한 협의체의 행보가 지역 복지의 든든한 기반이 되어 왔다고 평가했다.
1부 마지막 순서에서는 김시호 동 지사협 위원장 네트워크 대표가 10주년 기념사를 통해 “동 협의체는 출범 이후 한결같이 주민 곁을 지키며 지역복지 리더로서 묵묵히 역할을 해왔다”며 각 동 위원장들에게 감사의 뜻을 전했다.
이어진 2부에서는 tvN ‘이혼숙려캠프’에 출연 중인 이호선 교수가 ‘21세기 리더의 역량과 자기돌봄 기술’을 주제로 특강을 진행했다. 강연에서는 소통과 공감의 리더십, 소진 예방을 위한 자기돌봄 등 복지현장 활동가들에게 실질적으로 도움이 되는 내용이 다뤄져 큰 호응을 얻었다.
조재구 남구청장은 “지난 10년 동안 동 지역사회보장협의체가 복지 현장의 최전선에서 든든한 역할을 해왔다”며 “앞으로도 주민과 함께하는 명품복지 실현을 위해 아낌없는 지원을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Nam-gu 13-dong Community Security Council has established a public-private partnership with residents to implement various projects, including preventing lonely deaths, identifying blind spots in welfare services, and specializing in community welfare. Nam-gu praised the efforts of these councils as a solid foundation for local welfare.
At the end of Part 1, Kim Si-ho, head of the Dong Branch Council Network, delivered a 10th-anniversary speech. He expressed his gratitude to each of the district council chairs, saying, "Since its launch, the district council has consistently stood by residents and quietly played a leading role in local welfare."
In Part 2, Professor Lee Ho-seon, currently appearing on tvN's "Divorce Consideration Camp," gave a special lecture on "21st Century Leaders' Competencies and Self-Care Skills." The lecture garnered a positive response, covering practical, helpful topics for welfare workers, such as leadership based on communication and empathy, and self-care to prevent burnout.
Nam-gu Mayor Cho Jae-gu stated, "For the past 10 years, the Dong Community Security Council has played a solid role at the forefront of welfare work. We will continue to provide unwavering support to realize premium welfare that works with residents."
