파주보건소가 '2025년 경기도 모자보건사업 평가'에서 올해 처음 신설된 기관 부문 '우수기관'으로 선정되며 경기도지사 표창을 받았다.
파주보건소는 임신성 고혈압 예방관리, 톡소플라즈마 항체 검사, 취약지역 공공산부인과 운영 등 예방 중심의 모자보건 체계를 지속적으로 강화해 온 점이 높이 평가됐다.
특히 전국 최초로 도입한 '톡소플라즈마 항체 검사'는 임신 전 감염 여부를 조기에 확인할 수 있도록 해 이번 평가에서 높은 점수를 받은 핵심 요인으로 꼽혔다.
신규 사업으로 추진한 '임신성 고혈압 예방사업'도 긍정적인 평가를 받았다.
가정혈압 측정과 의료기관 연계를 통한 조기 관리체계를 구축해 임산부의 안전관리 수준을 실질적으로 향상시킨 점이 인정받았다.
또한 파주보건소는 북부권역을 비롯해 외국인, 다문화 임산부 등 의료취약계층을 위한 맞춤형 의료지원도 지속적으로 확대해왔다.
'공공산부인과 운영'과 '찾아가는 의료 서비스'는 파주 북부권 산부인과 공백 해소에 기여했다는 평가를 받았다.
