파주시 문산읍이 연말을 맞아 문산노을길에 희망의 불빛을 환하게 밝혔다.
문산읍은 지난 12일 문산노을길에서 성탄절 나무 점등식을 개최하고 본격적인 연말 분위기에 돌입했다.

이날 행사에는 김경일 파주시장, 박대성 파주시의회 의장을 비롯해 시의원, 지역 종교계 인사, 문산읍 사회단체장, 실버경찰대 등 60여 명의 주민들이 참석해 따뜻한 연말의 정취를 함께 나눴다.
문산읍은 이번 행사를 위해 약 12m 높이의 대형 성탁절 나무를 설치했다.
문산을 찾는 관광객과 문산노을길을 이용하는 주민들에게 특별한 연말연시 추억을 선물하기 위한 것이다.
밤하늘 아래 반짝이는 성탄절 나무는 산책로를 지나는 주민들의 발걸음을 멈추게 하며 겨울 밤의 낭만을 더하고 있다.
김경일 파주시장은 "파주시의 자랑스러운 명소인 문산노을길에 밝힌 이 성탄절 나무의 불빛이 우리 문산 주민 여러분 한 분 한 분에게 소중한 연말 추억이 되길 바란다"며 축하의 말을 전했다.
문산노을길을 환하게 비추는 이 희망의 성탄절 나무는 다가오는 새해 1월 말까지 점등돼 주민들과 방문객들에게 따뜻한 겨울 풍경을 선사할 예정이다.
