BYD의 초고성능 전기 하이퍼카 ‘양왕 U9’이 서울 송파에 모습을 드러냈다.
삼천리EV는 최근 문을 연 ‘BYD Auto 송파 전시장’에서 양왕 U9을 한정 기간 특별 전시한다고 밝혔다.
이번 전시는 국내에 처음 공개된 양왕 SUV ‘U8’에 이은 두 번째 양왕 라인업 소개다. 전시장을 찾은 고객들은 BYD가 추구하는 전동화 기술과 프리미엄 브랜드 전략을 직접 눈으로 확인할 수 있다.
양왕 U9은 단순한 전기차가 아니다. 최고속도는 시속 309km, 출력은 약 1,300마력에 달하는 전기 하이퍼카다. 네 개의 모터가 각각의 바퀴를 따로 제어하는 구조로, BYD의 기술력이 가장 극단적으로 구현된 모델로 꼽힌다.
특히 이 차량의 핵심은 네 바퀴 독립 제어 기술이다. 노면 상태나 주행 환경이 달라져도 각 바퀴를 밀리초 단위로 조절해 차체 균형을 유지한다. 이 덕분에 급가속과 급제동, 급회전 상황에서도 차는 흔들림 없이 움직인다. 실제로 차량이 ‘뛰고 춤추는 듯’ 보일 정도로 독특한 퍼포먼스를 구현한다는 평가를 받는다.
성능 수치도 하이퍼카답다. 정지 상태에서 시속 100km까지 도달하는 시간은 2초대에 불과하다. 80kWh 용량의 BYD 블레이드 배터리를 탑재해 1회 충전으로 최대 450km 주행이 가능하다.
외관 디자인 역시 강렬하다. 전장 4,966mm의 넉넉한 차체에 전고는 1,295mm로 낮게 설계해 공기 저항을 줄였다. 날카로운 데이라이트와 윙 타입 도어는 U9의 역동적인 이미지를 강조한다. 실내는 스웨이드 소재와 카본 디테일을 적용해 고급 스포츠카의 감성을 살렸다.
삼천리EV 관계자는 “BYD는 배터리부터 플랫폼, 차체 기술까지 모두 자체 기술로 완성한 브랜드”라며 “송파 전시장에서 U9을 통해 BYD가 추구하는 전동화의 방향과 기술 경쟁력을 직접 느껴보길 바란다”고 말했다.
삼천리EV는 삼천리그룹의 자동차 딜러 계열사다. 지난 11월 송파 전시장을 새롭게 열며 수도권에 6개 전시장과 3개 서비스센터를 운영하고 있다. 삼천리EV는 앞으로도 구매부터 상담, 사후 서비스까지 아우르는 프리미엄 전기차 고객 경험을 강화해 나갈 계획이다.
BYD Electric Hypercar “Yangwang U9” Makes Its Appearance at Songpa Showroom
BYD’s ultra-high-performance electric hypercar, the Yangwang U9, has made its debut in Songpa, Seoul.
Samchully EV announced that it is holding a limited-time special exhibition of the Yangwang U9 at the newly opened BYD Auto Songpa Showroom.
The exhibition marks the second introduction of BYD’s premium Yangwang lineup in Korea, following the country’s first public unveiling of the Yangwang U8 SUV. Visitors to the showroom can experience firsthand BYD’s electrification technologies and its premium brand strategy.
The Yangwang U9 is far more than a conventional electric vehicle. It is a full-fledged electric hypercar capable of a top speed of 309 km/h and delivering approximately 1,300 horsepower. Equipped with a four-motor system that independently controls each wheel, the U9 is widely regarded as the most extreme expression of BYD’s technological capabilities.
At the heart of the U9 is its advanced independent four-wheel control technology. Regardless of road conditions or driving environments, the system fine-tunes each wheel in milliseconds to maintain optimal vehicle balance. As a result, the car remains remarkably stable during hard acceleration, sudden braking, and sharp cornering. The vehicle’s movements are often described as appearing to “jump and dance,” highlighting its distinctive and highly precise performance.
Its performance figures are equally impressive. The U9 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just over two seconds. Powered by an 80 kWh BYD Blade Battery, the vehicle offers a driving range of up to 450 km on a single charge.
The exterior design is equally striking. With an overall length of 4,966 mm and a low height of 1,295 mm, the U9 minimizes air resistance through its sleek proportions. Sharp daytime running lights and wing-type doors emphasize its dynamic character. Inside, suede materials and carbon fiber details create the refined atmosphere of a high-end sports car.

Samchully EV is the automotive dealership subsidiary of the Samchully Group. Since opening the Songpa showroom last November, the company now operates six showrooms and three service centers across the Seoul metropolitan area. Moving forward, Samchully EV plans to further enhance the premium electric vehicle customer experience by expanding services that cover purchasing, consultation, and after-sales support.
