산업재해로 일을 그만두거나 치료를 이어가고 있는 산재연금수급자들을 위한 전용 신용카드가 나온다. 단순한 금융상품이 아니라, 일상 생활비 부담을 줄이기 위한 카드다.
하나카드는 근로복지공단과 업무협약(MOU)을 맺고, 산재연금수급자 전용 신용카드를 내년 1월 출시할 계획이라고 밝혔다. 협약의 목적은 산재연금수급자의 생활 안정과 금융 복지를 실질적으로 돕는 데 있다.
이번 카드의 가장 큰 특징은 혜택의 방향이다. 포인트나 적립 중심이 아니라, 병원비와 생활비처럼 꼭 필요한 지출을 줄이는 데 초점을 맞췄다. 치료비와 약값 등 의료비 할인은 물론, 대중교통, 마트, 학원, 주유, 주택관리비까지 일상에서 자주 쓰는 항목들이 할인 대상에 포함된다. 일부 항목에는 무이자 할부 혜택도 적용될 예정이다.
금융 연계 혜택도 마련된다. 하나카드는 하나은행과 협업해 산재연금수급자가 연금 수급 계좌를 하나은행으로 연결하면 최대 5만 원의 캐시백을 제공하는 이벤트를 준비하고 있다. 카드 발급 이후 바로 체감할 수 있는 혜택을 주겠다는 취지다.
근로복지공단과 하나카드의 협력은 이번이 처음이 아니다. 그동안 양측은 협약을 통해 조성된 복지기금을 활용해 산재연금수급자 자녀의 학비, 건강검진 비용, 문화생활 비용 등을 지원해왔다. 이번 전용 카드 출시는 이러한 지원을 일회성이 아닌, 일상 속 상시 혜택으로 확장한 사례로 평가된다.
산재연금수급자에게 금융 접근성은 곧 생활 안정과 직결된다. 이번 협약은 ‘배려 대상’이라는 표현에 그치지 않고, 실제 지출 구조를 고려한 맞춤형 금융 지원이라는 점에서 의미가 있다는 평가가 나온다.
Hana Card to Launch Credit Card Designed for Industrial Accident Pension Recipients
Hana Card has partnered with the Korea Workers’ Compensation & Welfare Service to introduce a credit card specifically designed for industrial accident pension recipients, aiming to improve financial welfare and daily living stability.
The two organizations signed a memorandum of understanding on December 4, with plans to launch the new card in January next year. The card is designed to provide practical, everyday benefits rather than traditional point-based rewards.
Key features include discounts on medical expenses such as treatment and prescription costs, as well as savings on public transportation, supermarkets, education fees, fuel, and apartment maintenance fees. Some categories will also offer interest-free installment options, helping cardholders better manage essential expenses.
Hana Card is also preparing a cashback promotion in collaboration with Hana Bank. Pension recipients who link their benefit accounts to Hana Bank will be eligible for cashback of up to KRW 50,000, allowing them to experience immediate benefits upon card issuance.
The partnership builds on previous cooperation between Hana Card and the Welfare Service, which has supported pension recipients through education expenses for children, health checkups, and cultural activities funded by welfare contributions.
By focusing on real spending needs, the new card represents a shift toward practical, everyday financial support for industrial accident pension recipients, offering a more sustainable approach to financial inclusion and welfare.
