브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자는 국립중앙박물관과 ‘삼성 아트 스토어’를 통해 미국 스미스소니언 재단 산하 국립아시아예술박물관에서 전시 중인 ‘이건희 컬렉션’ 20점을 무료로 공개했다고 18일 밝혔다.
이번에 공개된 △인왕제색도 △십장생도 △추성부도 등 한국 대표 작품들은 삼성 아트 스토어 국립중앙박물관 페이지에서 감상할 수 있다. 삼성전자와 국립중앙박물관은 이건희 컬렉션 공개를 통해 전 세계 삼성 소비자들에게 한국 전통 미술의 우수성을 알릴 계획이다.
삼성 아트 스토어는 수준 높은 미술 작품을 4K 고화질 이미지로 구현해 마치 미술관에 직접 온 것처럼 생생하게 감상할 수 있는 서비스로, 현재 전 세계 117개국에 제공되고 있다.
삼성전자와 국립중앙박물관은 삼성 TV로 가장 잘 감상할 수 있는 작품 20점을 선정해 고화질 4K 이미지로 구현했다.
이번에 공개되는 ‘이건희 컬렉션’에는 △한국 대표 진경산수화 ‘인왕제색도’(국보 제216호) △건강과 장수를 염원하는 ‘십장생도’ △조선 대표 화가 단원 김홍도의 ‘추성부도’ △조선 왕실을 상징하는 궁중 회화인 ‘일월오악도’ 등이 포함됐다.
또한, △경현당 선온도 △군접도 △오방오제위도 △사직사자도 △대방광불화엄경 권15 △책가도 △세년계회도 △구담봉도 △평생도 △임진진찬도 △해학반도도 △삼장보살도 △서빙고망도성도 △왕이 준천 공사를 보다 △호랑이와 까치 △한낮의 씨름 등 한국을 대표하는 주요 작품을 감상할 수 있다.
고 이건희 삼성전자 선대회장은 “비록 문화유산을 모으고 보존하는 일에 막대한 비용과 시간이 들어갈지라도 이는 인류 문화의 미래를 위한 것으로서 우리 모두의 시대적 의무라고 생각한다”며 문화유산 보존에 헌신했다.
고 이 선대회장의 문화공헌 철학을 계승한 이재용 삼성전자 회장 등 유족들은 2021년 4월 이 선대회장이 평생 모은 개인 소장품 2만3000여점을 국립중앙박물관과 국립현대미술관 등에 기증했다.
이후 ‘이건희 컬렉션’은 전국 미술관에 순회 전시되며 미술에 대한 국민들의 폭발적인 관심을 불러일으켰으며 국민들의 문화 향유권과 국내 미술관의 위상을 높이는 데 기여했다는 평가를 받고 있다.
이번에 ‘삼성 아트 스토어’에 공개된 ‘이건희 컬렉션’ 20점은 국외 순회전 종료되는 시점인 2027년 1월까지 감상할 수 있다.
한편, 국립중앙박물관은 고 이건희 선대회장의 기증품 중 한국 예술의 정수를 담은 작품을 엄선해 스미스소니언 재단 산하 국립아시아예술박물관에서 ‘한국의 보물: 모으고, 아끼고, 나누다’ 특별전을 진행하고 있다.
이번 특별전에서는 국립중앙박물관이 소장하고 있는 이건희 컬렉션 중 국보 7건, 보물 15건 등 총 172건, 297점의 작품을 선보이고 있다. 특히, 이번 전시는 40여년만에 열리는 북미 최대 규모의 한국미술 특별전으로 워싱턴 D.C.를 비롯한 미국 각지의 관심을 받고 있다.
