파주시가 보건복지부가 주관한 '2025년 전국민 마음투자 지원사업 지자체 평가'에서 우수 지자체로 선정되는 영예를 안았다.
시는 16일 이 같은 소식을 전하며, 전국 100개 우수 지자체 중 하나로 장려상을 받았다고 밝혔다.
이번 평가는 사업 서비스 신청률, 예산 집행률, 서비스 제공기관 등록 건수 등 8개 항목을 종합적으로 검토해 이뤄졌다.
파주시는 특히 사업 운영의 효율성과 시민 접근성 향상 노력에서 높은 평가를 받은 것으로 알려졌다.
'전국민 마음투자 지원사업'은 우울, 불안 등 정서적 어려움을 겪는 시민들에게 전문 심리 상담 서비스를 제공하는 국가 지원 사업이다.
대상자는 총 8회의 무료 심리 상담을 받을 수 있으며, 이를 통해 정신건강 증진을 도모할 수 있다.
파주시는 관내 11개 서비스 제공기관과 협력해 시민들에게 심리 상담 서비스를 지원해 왔다.
또한 유관 기관과의 긴밀한 협력체계를 구축하고, 시청 누리집, 소식지, SNS 등 다양한 채널을 활용한 적극적인 홍보로 시민들의 사업 접근성을 대폭 높였다는 평가다.
이한상 파주보건소장은 "이번 우수 지자체 선정은 시민의 마음건강 증진을 위해 지속적으로 추진해 온 노력이 결실을 맺은 의미 있는 성과"라고 소감을 밝혔다.
이어 "앞으로도 정서적 어려움을 겪는 시민들이 많은 도움을 받을 수 있도록 다양한 정신건강 증진 사업을 지속적으로 추진해 나가겠다"며 시민 정신건강 지원에 대한 의지를 재확인했다.
한편, 파주시는 이번 수상을 계기로 정신건강 서비스의 질적 향상과 더불어 사각지대 해소를 위한 정책도 강화해 나갈 계획이다.
