고양특례시는 관내 공사립 작은도서관을 대상으로 운영한 2025년 작은도서관 협력 프로그램의 후속으로 연합 전시회를 개최한다.

이번 전시회는 독서문화가 일상이 되는 곳, 작은도서관이라는 주제로 오는 12월 21일까지 아람누리도서관 지하 전시공간인 빛뜰에서 진행된다.
작은도서관 협력 프로그램은 각 도서관의 지역적 특성과 이용자 요구를 반영해 맞춤형 독서문화 활동을 활성화하기 위해 추진되는 사업이다.
2024년 8개소 지원으로 시작된 이 사업은 2025년 총 13개소로 지원 대상이 확대되며 사업 규모와 참여 폭이 넓어졌다.
이번 전시는 연말을 맞아 그동안의 성과를 한자리에 모아 시민들과 공유하기 위해 마련됐으며 시는 이를 통해 작은도서관이 시민들의 생활 속 독서문화 거점으로 기능하고 있음을 널리 알릴 계획이다.
고양시도서관센터 관계자는 작은도서관 협력 프로그램을 통해 각 도서관이 지역 특성에 맞는 개성 있는 공간으로 성장하고 있다며 이번 전시가 시민들에게 작은도서관의 가치와 가능성을 전달하는 계기가 되길 바란다고 밝혔다.
