【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 인접 시군인 괴산군에서 지난 17일 고병원성 조류인플루엔자(AI)가 발생함에 따라 관내 가금류 사육농장으로 유입과 확산 방지를 위해 방역을 대폭 강화하고 있다고 밝혔다.
군은 이날 상황판단회의를 열고 사태의 심각성을 감안해 재난안전대책본부를 즉시 가동하기로 결정했으며, 가축전염병의 관내 유입을 선제적으로 차단하고, 만약 발생하더라도 신속한 대응과 방역이 이뤄질 수 있도록 총력을 기울이고 있다.
특히 괴산군 발생 농장 반경 10km 내 지역에 음성군 관내 가금류 사육 농장 상당수가 포함되면서 인접 지역 간 질병 확산 우려가 커진 상황으로, 군은 방역대를 설정하고 해당 농장 현황을 파악하는 한편, 농장별 사육 현황과 방역 관리 상태를 점검하는 등 초기 대응체계를 가동했다.

또한 고병원성 AI 발생 상황과 방역 진행 현황을 수시로 점검해 필요할 경우 추가 방역 조치를 즉각 시행할 방침이다.
군 관계자는 “인접 시군의 고병원성 AI 발생에 대한 우려가 매우 큰 상황”이라며“가금류 사육농가는 외부인과 차량 출입을 최소화하고, 농장 내·외부 소독과 방역수칙을 철저히 지켜달라”고 말했다.
