브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차 고성능 브랜드 ‘N’의 대표 경주차 ‘아반떼 N TCR’이 글로벌 대표 레이싱 게임 ‘그란 투리스모’ 시리즈에 합류한다.
현대차는 지난 21일 일본 후쿠오카 국제회의장에서 열린 ‘그란 투리스모 2025 월드 시리즈’ 최종전에서 박준우 현대차 N매니지먼트실장과 폴리포니 디지털 야마우치 카즈노리 대표가 참석한 가운데, 아반떼 N TCR을 ‘그란 투리스모 7’에 투입한다고 발표했다.
아반떼 N TCR은 내년 1월 예정된 ‘그란 투리스모 7’ 업데이트를 통해 게임에 추가된다. 이번 업데이트로 이용자들은 기존의 ‘N 2025 비전 그란 투리스모’, 아이오닉 5 N, 아반떼 N에 더해 총 4대의 N 브랜드 차량을 선택해 레이스를 즐길 수 있게 된다.
이번 발표는 현대차 고성능 브랜드 N 출범 10주년과 현대차-폴리포니 디지털 협업 10주년을 동시에 기념하는 의미도 담고 있다. 현대차는 이를 기념해 게임 스토리 진행 모드인 ‘GT 카페’에 N 브랜드 테마 미션을 추가하고, 신차 구매 상점인 ‘브랜드 센트럴’에는 현대차 브랜드 뮤지엄을 새롭게 업데이트할 예정이다.
