(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 지난 19일 학교 현장의 학업중단 예방 역량 강화를 위해 담당자 70명을 대상으로 ‘2025 학업중단 예방교육 운영학교 담당자 워크숍’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 워크숍은 학교 간 우수사례 공유와 협력 네트워크를 구축하기 위해 마련했으며, 학업중단 예방에 대한 인식을 제고하고 위기학생에 대한 조기 발견과 맞춤형 지원 방안을 함께 모색하는 시간으로 운영되었다.
학업중단 예방 정책과 제도 효과성에 대한 전문가 특강, 소그룹 토의, 학교 운영 사례 나눔 등으로 진행됐으며, 특히 한국청소년정책연구원 전문연구원이 학업중단 예방 정책의 방향성과 현장 적용 방안을 중심으로 한 강연도 펼쳐졌다.
이어진 소그룹 토의에서는 학업중단 위기학생 조기 발견 방법, 효과적인 예방 프로그램 사례, 학생, 학부모, 교사 간 협력 방안, 지역사회 연계 프로그램 운영 사례, 운영상의 어려움과 개선 방안 등 학교 현장의 실제 사례를 중심으로 활발한 논의가 이뤄졌다.

또한, 인천시교육청이 지난 19일부터 20일까지 강원도 춘천 일대에서 2022 개정 교육과정에 부합하는 미래형 수학교육 실현을 위해 ‘2025 수학 교원 역량 강화 워크숍’을 운영했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 워크숍에는 중등 수학 교사와 수학교육 업무 담당자 52명이 참여해 생성형 AI를 활용한 수학 교수·학습 및 평가 역량 강화 프로그램에 함께했다.
연수는 선진 기업 탐방, 전문가 특강, 체험형 연수, 분임 토의 등 현장 중심으로 구성됐다.
