세종시, ‘재난대응 안전한국훈련’ 2년 연속 우수기관 선정

세종특별자치시가 행정안전부 주관 ‘2025년 재난대응 안전한국훈련’ 평가에서 지난해에 이어 2년 연속 우수기관으로 선정되며, 대한민국 대표 ‘안전 도시’로서의 위상을 굳건히 했다.

재난대응 안전한국훈련은 범국가적 재난대비 역량을 점검하기 위해 매년 전국 지자체를 대상으로 실시되는 평가다. 세종시는 이번 평가에서 체계적인 매뉴얼 가동과 유기적인 민·관 협업 체계에서 높은 점수를 받은 것으로 나타났다.

지난 10월 23일 실시된 올해 훈련은 형식적인 틀에서 벗어나 실제 발생 가능한 ‘극한 상황’을 가정해 진행됐다. 세종시청과 세종동 일원에서 펼쳐진 이번 훈련은 기록적인 풍수해로 인해 사회기반시설이 붕괴되고, 연쇄 추돌사고로 다수의 사상자가 발생하는 복합재난 상황을 설정했다.

세종시는 긴박한 상황 속에서도 재난안전대책본부와 현장 통합지원본부를 실시간으로 연결하며 대응 능력을 점검했다. 특히 돌발 상황에 대한 유연한 대처와 기관 간의 긴밀한 소통이 돋보였다는 평가다.
