24일 전북특별자치도에 따르면 AI 항원이 검출된 고창군 부안면의 한 육용오리 농장에 대한 농림축산검역본부 정밀검사 결과, H5N1형 고병원성으로 최종 확인됐다.
이날 오후 8시 기준 고병원성 AI는 전국적으로 21건(경기 9건ㆍ충북 4건ㆍ충남 3건ㆍ전남과 전북 각 2건ㆍ광주 1건)이 발생했다.
해당 농장은 36일령 육용오리를 사육하는 곳으로 정기 검사(35일령)에서 H5형 항원이 확인됐다.
