이재명 대통령이 26일 순직 공직자 유족들과 만나 "모두를 위한 특별한 희생엔 특별한 보상이 주어져야 한다는 원칙을 지켜 나갈 것"이라고 밝혔다.
대통령실에 따르면 이 대통령은 이날 오전 용산 대통령실에서 열린 순직 경찰·소방·해경·군무원·공무 수행 사망자 유족 오찬 모두 발언에서 “대한민국이 안전한 나라가 된 건 공직자들 희생·헌신이 있었던 덕분”이라며 이같이 전했다.
