【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 2025년도 주민등록·인감(서명확인) 제도 유공자로 김영태(사진) 증평읍이장협의회장이 행정안전부 장관상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
이와 함께 증평읍 이회용 민원팀장과 양동주 주무관이 충청북도지사상 수상자로 선정됐다.
행정안전부는 매년 일선에서 주민등록․인감(서명확인) 제도 개선․발전에 기여한 전국 광역․기초 지방자치단체를 대상으로 유공기관과 유공자를 선정하고 있다.
김영태 증평읍이장연합회장은 2019년 11월부터 증평읍 송산9리 이장으로 재직하며 행정의 최일선에서 주민과 행정기관을 잇는 가교 역할을 성실히 수행해 왔다.
특히 주민등록 일제정리 전수조사와 본인서명사실확인서 제도 홍보에 적극 참여하는 등 주민 편의 증진과 지역사회 발전에 기여한 점이 높게 평가됐다.
김영태 협의회장은 “이장으로서 당연히 해야 할 역할을 했을 뿐인데 큰 상을 받게 돼 무거운 책임감을 느낀다”며 “앞으로도 주민들이 불편함 없이 행정서비스를 이용할 수 있도록 현장에서 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
도지사상을 수상한 이회용 민원팀장과 양동주 주무관은 주민등록 및 인감(서명확인) 업무를 안정적으로 운영하며 민원 행정의 신뢰성과 효율성을 높이는 데 기여해 왔다.
이회용 증평읍 민원팀장은 “이번 표창은 현장에서 묵묵히 역할을 다한 직원들의 노력과, 이장님의 성실한 행정 협력이 함께 만들어낸 성과”라며 “앞으로도 군민 모두가 편리하고 만족할 수 있는 민원서비스 제공에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
