【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 지역의 직업계고 교사 연구회 두 팀이 전국 공모에서 동시에 교육부장관상을 수상했다.
대구 직업계고 교사연구회 ‘에듀-코어 브리지’와 ‘링크드’는 ‘2025년 직업계고 직업기초능력 우수 교사연구회’ 공모에서 교육부장관상을 받았다.
교육부와 한국직업능력연구원이 공동 주관한 이번 공모에 전국 약 50개 연구회가 참가했으며, 이 가운데 최종 6개 팀이 장관상 수상의 영예를 안았다. 수상 팀 중 두 곳이 대구 소속이다.
‘에듀-코어 브리지’는 전문교과와 보통교과를 연계한 융합 수업을 연구 주제로 삼았다. 안영미 대구공업고 교사가 회장직을 맡았고, 대구공업고, 대구제일여자상업고, 영남공업고, 경북공업고, 조일고 교사들이 연구에 참여했다.
이들은 ‘플라스틱 탐구에서 직무 현장까지’를 주제로 융합 교수·학습 자료를 개발하고, 실제 수업 적용 사례를 제시해 높은 평가를 받았다.
‘링크드’는 교과 연계를 통한 직업기초능력 인식 제고를 목표로 연구를 진행했다. 김지원 경북기계공업고 교사가 회장을 맡아 경북기계공업고, 대구농업마이스터고, 상서고, 경북공업고 교사들과 함께했다.
팀은 학습 요소를 분석하고, 이를 교과 연계 수업에 적용하는 방안과 직업기초능력 강화 전략을 구체적으로 제시한 점이 강점으로 꼽혔다.
이번 공모는 연구계획 심사를 거쳐 20개 팀이 본과제로 선정된 뒤 약 8개월간 연구를 진행하는 방식으로 치러졌다. 두 연구회 모두 현장 적용이 가능한 자료와 실제 사례를 제시하며 실천 중심 연구의 성과를 입증했다.
강은희 대구시교육감은 “직업계고 교사들이 자발적으로 연구하고 협업하면서 수업 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 의미 있는 성과를 축적하고 있다”며 “교과 간 연계를 통해 학생들의 직업기초능력을 체계적으로 키우려는 현장 중심 연구가 지속되고 있음을 보여준다”고 밝혔다.

Two vocational high school teacher research groups in the Daegu area simultaneously won the Minister of Education Award in a national competition.
Daegu vocational high school teacher research groups, "Edu-Core Bridge" and "Linked," received the Minister of Education Award in the "2025 Vocational High School Teacher Research Group for Outstanding Vocational Basic Skills."

Ahn Young-mi, a teacher at Daegu Technical High School, served as president, and teachers from Daegu Technical High School, Daegu Jeil Girls' Commercial High School, Yeongnam Technical High School, Gyeongbuk Technical High School, and Joil High School participated in the research.
They developed integrated teaching and learning materials on the theme of "From Plastic Exploration to Workplace Practices" and presented practical application cases, receiving high praise for their work.
"Linked" conducted research aimed at raising awareness of basic vocational skills through curriculum integration. Kim Ji-won, a teacher at Gyeongbuk Mechanical Technical High School, served as the chair and participated with teachers from Gyeongbuk Mechanical Technical High School, Daegu Agricultural Meister High School, Sangseo High School, and Gyeongbuk Technical High School.
The team's strengths included analyzing learning elements, applying them to curriculum-linked classes, and presenting specific strategies for strengthening basic vocational skills.
This competition involved a review of research plans, with 20 teams selected for the main project, which then underwent approximately eight months of research. Both research groups demonstrated the effectiveness of practice-oriented research by presenting applicable data and real-world examples.
Daegu Metropolitan Superintendent of Education Kang Eun-hee stated, "Vocational high school teachers are voluntarily conducting research and collaborating, accumulating meaningful results that can be applied in the classroom. This demonstrates the ongoing field-oriented research that systematically develops students' basic vocational skills through cross-curricular integration."
