청와대가 3일 이재명 대통령이 베네수엘라 사태 관련해 현지 교민 보호·철수 계획을 면밀히 준비할 것을 지시했다고 전했다.
청와대는 이날 밤 언론 공지를 통해 "오늘 오후 이 대통령이 베네수엘라 폭발 사태 보고를 받고 외교부 등 관계 당국에 철저한 교민 보호·상황 악화 대비 치밀한 철수 계획 수립을 지시했다"며 "필요시 계획이 신속 집행될 수 있도록 만반의 준비를 다 할 것을 당부했다"고 전했다.
그러면서 "외교부는 오늘 저녁 긴급 대책회의를 개최 예정"이라며 "외교부는 사태 발생 후 즉시 재외국민보호대책반을 가동하고 현지 공관과 함께 교민 안전 확보를 위해 만전을 기하고 있다"고 전했다.
