세종시가 2026년 시정 비전을 ‘월파출해(越波出海)’로 정했다.
파도를 넘어 바다로 나아간다는 의미처럼, 대내외적인 난관을 넘어 ‘미래전략수도 세종’으로 도약하겠다는 의지를 담았다.
최민호 세종특별자치시장은 5일 시청 정음실에서 열린 신년 브리핑에서 “병오년은 뜨거운 기운의 붉은 말처럼 끝없이 내달리는 해가 될 것”이라며 “행정수도를 넘어 창조와 혁신의 도시로 세종의 새 백년을 열겠다”고 밝혔다.
최 시장은 올해 세종시가 명실상부한 행정수도로 도약할 기반을 확보한다고 강조했다.
그는 “행정수도 완성을 위한 개헌 논의와 ‘행정수도 특별법’이 올해 국회를 통과할 수 있도록 적극 추진하겠다”며 “대통령집무실과 국회세종의사당의 사업이 예정대로 추진되도록 정부·국회와 긴밀히 협력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
