위촉된 공수의들은 2026년 한 해동안 가축방역사업 계획에 따라 가축전염병의 예찰과 예방을 위한 공적 업무를 수행하게 된다.

특히 구제역 예방접종 및 소 브루셀라병 예방을 위한 채혈 등을 실시하며 현장 지도, 임상 예찰, 시료 채취 등 방역의 최일선에서 핵심적인 역할을 담당함으로써 우리군 축산물 청청지역 유지에 중요한 역할을 맡는다.
