[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 창녕군은 지난해 경상남도에서 주관한 '2025년 기록관리 평가'에서 최고 등급인 S등급을 받아 우수기관으로 선정됐다고 6일 밝혔다.
이번 평가는 도내 시·군을 대상으로 기록관리 발전과 기록문화 확산에 기여한 기관을 표창하기 위해 마련됐으며, 창녕군은 이번 평가에서 정량평가와 정성평가 전반에 걸쳐 높은 점수를 받으며 군부 우수기관으로 이름을 올렸다.
특히 군이 추진한 '지역문화기록가 사업'은 기록관리와 지역공동체 활성화를 동시에 실현한 우수사례로 꼽혔다.
이 사업은 어르신들이 지역의 과거와 현대 생활사 등 삶의 모습이 담긴 기록물을 직접 수집하고 구술 채록하는 활동이다.
사업 수행기관인 창녕시니어클럽 역시 기록문화 확산의 공로를 인정받아 민간단체 부문에서 도지사 표창을 수상하며 군은 공공과 민간부문에서 동시에 수상하는'2관왕'의 성과를 거뒀다.
군 관계자는 "기록은 행정의 투명성을 높이고 지역의 정체성을 확립하는 핵심 자산"이라며 "앞으로도 지역의 역사적 가치가 담긴 민간기록을 적극 발굴하여 '기록으로 소통하는 창녕'을 만들어 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
