[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 남해군이 8일부터 관광객의 이동 편의 증진과 지역 관광 활성화를 위해 택시관광가이드 사업을 본격 운영한다고 밝혔다.
남해군은 올해 ‘자연과 감성의 국민쉼터 남해’라는 슬로건으로 내걸고 체류형 관광 활성화를 위해 택시관광가이드 사업을 적극적으로 추진할 계획이다.
이번 관광택시 사업은 예산 소진 시까지 연중 운영되며, 총 10대의 관광택시가 참여한다.
이용 대상은 남해군 외 지역에 주민등록을 둔 관광객으로, 기존 택시 영업과 병행하되 관광택시 예약 건에 대해 우선 배차하는 방식으로 운영된다.
관광택시는 관광객이 원하는 코스를 자유롭게 선택할 수 있어 개별 여행객은 물론 소규모 가족·단체 관광객에게도 높은 만족도를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
관광택시 이용요금은 기본 4시간 기준 관광객 부담금 6만 원이며, 기본 이용시간 초과 시에는 시간당 2만 원의 요금이 추가로 적용된다.
관광택시 가이드는 남해 관광에 대한 지식과 친절을 겸비하여 관광객에게 만족감을 줄 것으로 기대된다.
이연주 관광진흥과장은 “관광택시는 이동 수단을 넘어 관광 안내와 지역 홍보 역할까지 수행하는 만큼, 관광객 만족도와 재방문율 제고에 기여할 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
