[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 재부사천시향우회가 공식 출범했다.

지난 9일 부산 농심호텔에서 '재부사천시향우회' 출범식 및 회장 취임식이 열렸다.

재부사천향우회는 부산 지역에 거주하는 사천 출신 향우들을 중심으로 고향 사천시와의 인적·경제·문화 교류를 확대하고 향우 간 유대 강화와 화합을 도모하기 위해 출범한 단체이다.

이날 행사는 사천과 삼천포 지역 향우회가 통합되어 새로운 출발을 알리는 의미 있는 자리로 행사의 의미를 한층 더했다.

이날 행사에는 한상진 초대 통합회장과 최상기 수석부회장, 백삼석 사무총장을 비롯해 강석진 재부경남향우연합회장, 서천호 국회의원, 박동식 사천시장, 최정봉 부산 중구청장 등 주요 내빈과 향우 500여 명이 참석했다.

특히, 행사 현장에서 고향사랑기부제 전달식이 함께 진행되어 한상진 재부사천향우회장이 300만 원, 이해형 세무법인TS대표가 200만 원, 임종진 마리나교역 대표가 50만 원을 기부했다.

박동식 시장은 "오늘 출범식은 과거의 이름을 지우는 자리가 아니라, 두 지역의 자부심과 전통을 '재부사천향우회'라는 더 큰 그릇에 담아내는 뜻깊은 출발점"이라고 강조했다.
