시는 시민 생활과 밀접한 의료 및 생활 필수 분야의 이용 편의를 높이고자 가맹점 제한 기준을 완화하는 등 관련 조치를 시행한다고 13일 밝혔다.
이번 확대 조치의 핵심은 시민들의 건강권 보장과 생활 편의 개선이다. 우선 관내 약 400여 개소의 병·의원 및 약국에서는 연 매출액 제한 없이 양주사랑카드를 사용할 수 있게 됐다. 또한, 고령 인구 비중이 높아 생활 편의 시설 확충이 시급했던 백석읍 지역의 농협 하나로마트에서도 사용이 허용됐다.
소상공인 지원을 위한 세밀한 정책도 포함됐다. 대규모 점포 내에 입점해 있더라도 연 매출 12억 원 이하인 개별 점포는 소상공인으로 분류해 가맹 등록을 허용함으로써, 시민들이 대형 마트 내 소상공인 점포를 이용할 때도 지역화폐 혜택을 누릴 수 있도록 했다.
