인천대에 따르면, 이번 유니기획 공모전은 인천대학교 재학생을 대상으로 다양한 비교과 활동 참여 기회를 확대함으로써 대학생활 만족도를 높이고 자부심을 강화하기 위하여 마련됐다.
재학생이 직접 학식 메뉴를 발굴·제안하는 ‘유니 학식 레시피 제안 공모전’에는 총 8개 작품이 응모해 4개 작품이 선정됐으며, 실패와 좌절의 경험을 공유해 도전정신과 자기 성찰의 계기를 마련하고자 한 진행된‘유니 실패 경험수기 공유 공모전’에는 18개 작품이 응모해 6개 작품이 선정되는 등 총 10개 작품이 수상의 영예를 안았다.
‘유니 학식 레시피 제안 공모전’에서 우수상을 수상한 자유전공학부 이채민 학생은 ‘유니 학식 소불고기 김치덮밥’을 통해 바쁜 대학생들이 간편하게 한 끼를 해결하면서도 맛과 즐거움을 느낄 수 있기를 바라는 마음으로 공모전에 참여했다며, “수상까지 하게 되어 이런 공모전을 마련해 준 학교에 감사한 마음이다”고 소감을 전했다.
