파주시 금촌2동은 2026년 새해를 맞아 도시미관을 저해하고 주민 불편을 초래하는 불법광고물을 근절하기 위해 1월 한 달간 관내 주요 지역을 대상으로 집중 정비를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 정비는 유동인구가 많은 금릉역 인근 중앙보행로를 비롯해 상가 건물 벽면과 도로변 울타리, 전신주 등에 무단으로 부착된 전단지와 각종 홍보물을 대상으로 추진된다.
금촌2동은 최근 방학기를 맞아 학원과 체력단련센터, 상가 등을 중심으로 부착형 불법광고물이 급증하면서 거리 경관 훼손은 물론 통행 불편과 민원이 지속적으로 발생하고 있다고 판단해 선제적인 대응에 나섰다.
정비 활동에는 담당 공무원과 기간제 근로자가 함께 참여해 현장을 합동 점검하며, 불법광고물이 발견되는 즉시 수거·제거하는 방식으로 신속하고 효율적인 정비를 진행할 계획이다.
또한 상습적으로 불법광고물을 부착하는 업체에 대해서는 사전 계고를 실시하고, 이후에도 시정되지 않을 경우 과태료 부과 등 관련 법령에 따른 행정처분을 병행할 방침이다.
