서구에 따르면, 이번 보고회는 2026년 부서별 사업 계획에 대한 사전 점검과 유기적인 협력체계 구축을 통해 올 한해 서구의 주요 사업들을 전략적이고 효율적으로 추진하기 위해 마련됐다.

보고회 참석자들은 각 부서의 사업 추진 전략을 공유하는 한편 부서 간 협업 방안, 업무 추진 시 예견되는 문제점에 대한 해결 방안 도출하기 위해 심도 있는 논의를 펼쳤다.
특히, 지난 1월 2일자로 확대 구성된 검단구 출범 준비 부서에서는 행정·재정·인프라 등 전반적인 사항에 대한 사전 검토를 거쳐 별도의 주요업무 시행계획을 수립·보고했으며, 오는 7월 성공적인 행정체제개편 추진을 위해 모든 역량을 집중하고 있다.
