【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군농업기술센터는 2026년도 영농부산물 안전처리 지원 사업을 본격 추진한다고 16일 밝혔다.
영농부산물 안전처리 지원 사업은 영농부산물(옥수수, 고춧대, 깻대 등)을 파쇄해 퇴비로 활용하는 사업이다.
농업 분야에서 발생하는 미세먼지 저감, 산불 예방, 병해충 발생 저감에 이바지하는 것을 목표로 하며 자원순환 실천을 통해 지속 가능한 농업 환경을 구축하는 데 중요한 역할을 하고 있다.
파쇄 작업 신청 기간은 오는 2월 6일까지이며 각 읍·면 행정복지센터에서 신청하면 된다.
지원 대상은 관내 거주 농업인으로 △산림연접지 100m 이내 취약농가(고령농, 장애농·여성농) △소규모 농가 △그 외 일반농가 농경지의 순서로 진행된다.
신속하고 안전한 작업을 위해 농업인은 마을별로 지정된 장소에 비닐 끈, 쓰레기 등을 제거하고 영농부산물을 모아두면 파쇄지원단이 현장에서 작업을 진행할 예정이다.
다만 △파쇄지원단 안전 문제로 인한 잔가지, 과수류 등 △화상병 발생지 △탄저병·역병이 발생한 농지의 고춧대 등 병해 발생 위험이 높은 부산물은 지원 대상에서 제외된다.
상반기 영농부산물 처리는 2~4월, 하반기 처리는 11~12월에 시행할 계획이며, 영농 현황에 따라 탄력적으로 운영될 예정이다.
남기순 군 농업기술센터 소장은 “올해에도 영농부산물 파쇄 작업을 통해 불법 소각을 예방하고, 환경 친화적인 퇴비화를 촉진해 미세먼지 저감 등 긍정적인 효과를 기대하고 있다”며 “농업인들의 많은 참여와 관심을 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
