함안군, 곶감 농가 생산 적극 지원

[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 함안군은 제15회 함안곶감축제 준비와 설 명절을 앞두고 곶감 건조 작업이 한창인 가운데, 조근제 군수가 함안면 파수리의 한 곶감 농가를 찾아 현장을 살피고 농가를 격려했다고 19일 밝혔다.

조 군수는 “함안곶감은 임금님께 진상품으로 올렸을 만큼 맛이 뛰어난 함안의 대표 특산품이다”며 “곶감의 우수한 품질과 맛을 지키기 위한 농가의 정성과 노고에 감사드리며, 군에서도 곶감 생산을 위해 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

함안곶감은 예부터 맛과 향이 좋아 조선시대 임금님께 올리는 곶감으로 유명하다.

군 관계자는 “오는 23일부터 25일까지 3일간 제15회 함안곶감축제를 개최한다”며 “다양한 볼거리와 먹거리를 준비하고 있으니 많은 분들이 방문해 우수한 품질의 함안곶감을 맛보고 축제도 함께 즐기시길 바란다”고 전했다.
