남구청에 따르면 지난해 해당 서비스에는 2,081명이 신청해 1,931필지, 약 161만㎡에 달하는 토지 소유 정보를 제공받은 것으로 집계됐다.
‘지적전산자료 조회 서비스’는 이른바 ‘조상 땅 찾기’처럼 조상 명의 토지 확인뿐만 아니라, 본인 명의 토지 조회, 개인회생·파산 신청 시 재산 증빙, 안심상속 서비스 등 다양한 행정 수요에 폭넓게 활용되고 있다. 복잡한 재산 확인 절차를 간소화함으로써 구민들의 권리 행사와 행정 편의를 높이고 있다는 평가다.
