(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 지난 20일부터 미취업 청년들의 자신감 회복과 취업 역량 강화를 지원하기 위한 ‘2026년 청년도전지원사업’ 참여자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.
계양구에 따르면, 구는 앞서 고용노동부 주관 ‘청년도전지원사업’ 공모에 3년 연속 선정돼 국비 3억 4천여만 원을 확보했으며, 이를 바탕으로 청년 맞춤형 취업 지원 프로그램을 체계적으로 운영할 계획이다.
‘청년도전지원사업’은 6개월 이상 취업·교육·직업훈련 이력이 없는 미취업 청년을 대상으로 맞춤형 프로그램 지원 및 참여수당, 인센티브를 제공 등 다양한 프로그램을 제공해 노동시장 참여를 촉진하는 사업이다.
지원 대상은 6개월 이상 취업·교육·직업훈련 이력이 없는 18~39세 미취업 청년, 자립준비청년, 청소년 복지시설 입·퇴소 청년, 북한이탈청년, 가습기살균제 피해 청년, 지역특화청년이다.
