일산소방서는 지난해 12월 10일 오후, 백석동 도로변에서 의식을 잃고 쓰러진 윤모(40대·남) 씨가 최근 건강을 회복해 백석119안전센터를 직접 찾아 감사 인사를 전했다고 20일 밝혔다.
당시 백석구급차(장환석, 조소윤), 백석펌프차(김영훈, 강신현, 김낙주, 박진기), 장항구급차(성영우, 윤승준, 박경덕) 등이 출동해 현장에서 심정지 상태의 윤 씨에게 가슴 압박과 산소 투여 등 긴급 처치를 실시했으며 대원들의 신속한 응급조치와 병원 이송 덕분에 윤 씨는 의식을 되찾고 건강을 회복했다.
윤 씨는 “신속한 대응으로 제 생명을 구해준 소방대원들께 진심으로 감사드린다”며, 순직·부상 소방 가족의 교육 지원을 위해 설립된 사단법인 ‘소방가족희망나눔’에 기부금 50만 원을 전달하고 감사의 편지도 전했다.
