【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항시는 노후주택의 주거환경을 개선하고 에너지 비용 부담을 줄이기 위해 2026년도 그린리모델링 지원사업을 시행한다고 밝혔다.

그린리모델링 지원사업은 생활환경과 에너지 성능이 저하된 노후주택을 대상으로 단열과 창호, 냉·난방 효율 개선 등을 지원해 시민의 삶의 질을 높이고 녹색건축물 확산을 도모하기 위해 마련됐다.
지원 대상은 ‘건축법’에 따라 사용승인 후 15년 이상 경과한 주거용 건축물로, 단독주택과 다가구주택, 아파트·연립·다세대주택 등 19세대 이하 공동주택이 해당된다. 또한 단독·공동주택과 근린생활시설이 복합된 연면적 660㎡ 이하 건축물도 신청할 수 있으며, 신청 자격은 해당 건축물의 등기상 소유자다.
지원 내용은 에너지 사용량 절감과 성능 향상을 위한 내·외부 단열공사, 고성능 기밀 창호 교체, 냉·난방 효율 개선 공사, 신·재생에너지 설비 설치 등으로, 총공사비의 50% 이내에서 최대 500만 원까지 지원된다.
신청은 이달 21일부터 2월 13일까지 포항시청 건축디자인과를 방문하거나 등기우편으로 접수하면 된다. 자세한 사항은 포항시청 홈페이지 또는 해당 부서와 읍·면·동 행정복지센터를 통해 확인할 수 있다.
김복수 포항시 도시안전주택국장은 “그린리모델링 사업을 통해 시민들의 에너지 비용 부담을 줄이고 탄소중립 실현에도 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”며 “노후주택을 보유한 시민들의 많은 관심과 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.
한편 포항시는 2022년부터 2025년까지 그린리모델링 사업을 통해 총 174동의 노후주택에 대해 6억 1,400만 원을 지원한 바 있다.

Eligible for support are residential buildings that have been approved for use for at least 15 years pursuant to the Building Act. These include single-family homes, multi-family homes, and apartments, townhouses, and multi-unit housing units with 19 or fewer units. Buildings with a combined floor area of 660 square meters or less, including single-family homes, multi-family homes, and neighborhood living facilities, are also eligible to apply. Applicants must be the registered owner of the building.
The support covers internal and external insulation to reduce energy consumption and improve performance, replacement of high-performance airtight windows, improvement of heating and cooling efficiency, and installation of new and renewable energy facilities. The support covers up to 50% of the total construction cost, up to a maximum of 5 million won.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Architecture Design Department of Pohang City Hall or by registered mail from February 21st to February 13th. Meanwhile, Pohang City has already provided 614 million won in support to 174 older homes through the Green Remodeling Project from 2022 to 2025.
