양 기관은 협약을 통해 지역 문화관광 산업의 경쟁력을 높이고 주민들의 문화 향유 기회를 확대하기 위해 다양한 분야에서 협력을 추진할 계획이다. 주요 협력 내용은 △문화콘텐츠 교류 및 문화관광 분야 활동 지원 △주요 축제와 문화관광 행사 홍보 협력 △AI 시대 글로벌 문화관광 트렌드 공동 대응 △지역소멸 대응을 위한 신규 콘텐츠 개발 협력 △공동연수 프로그램 운영 등이다.
고령문화관광재단은 지난해 10월 27일 출범한 기관으로, 세계유산인 지산동 고분군을 비롯한 고령의 풍부한 역사·문화 자산을 바탕으로 새로운 문화관광 콘텐츠를 개발하고 지역 관광산업 활성화를 추진하고 있다. 또한 오는 3월 27일부터 29일까지 열리는 ‘대가야축제’를 주관하며 지역 대표 문화축제의 위상을 높일 예정이다.
양 재단은 이번 협약을 통해 지역 간 문화관광 협력 모델을 구축하고, 지속가능한 문화관광 발전을 위한 공동 노력을 이어갈 방침이다.

Goryeong Culture and Tourism Foundation and Dalseo Cultural Foundation Sign MOU to Expand Cooperation in Culture and Tourism
On January 20th, the Goryeong Culture and Tourism Foundation and the Dalseo Cultural Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Inbin Hall, a Daegaya Historical Theme Tourist Site in Goryeong County, with representatives from both organizations in attendance, to expand cooperation in the field of culture and tourism. Through this agreement, Goryeong County, North Gyeongsang Province, and Dalseo District, Daegu, agreed to work closely together to revitalize cultural and tourism exchanges.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to collaborate in various areas to enhance the competitiveness of the local culture and tourism industry and expand cultural experiences for residents. Key areas of cooperation include: 1) support for cultural content exchange and cultural tourism activities; 2) cooperation in promoting major festivals and cultural tourism events; 3) jointly responding to global cultural and tourism trends in the AI era; 4) cooperation in developing new content to address regional extinction; and 5) joint training programs.
Launched on October 27th of last year, the Goryeong Culture and Tourism Foundation develops new cultural tourism content based on Goryeong's rich historical and cultural assets, including the Jisan-dong Ancient Tombs, a World Heritage site, and promotes the revitalization of the local tourism industry. Furthermore, the foundation plans to host the "Daegaya Festival," held from March 27th to 29th, elevating the status of the region's representative cultural festival.
Through this agreement, the two foundations plan to establish a model for regional cultural tourism cooperation and continue their joint efforts to promote sustainable cultural tourism development.
