이번 시즌2는 새로운 PvE(플레이어 대 환경) 콘텐츠를 대거 선보이고, 다양한 시스템의 편의성을 개선한 것이 특징이다.
아이온2는 새로운 ‘원정’ 콘텐츠 ‘죽은 드라마타의 둥지’를 선보인다. ‘악몽’에서는 보스 몬스터 7종이 등장하며, 토벌전과 각성전은 신규 던전과 극한, 절망, 지옥 등의 상위 난이도가 추가된다. 최대 4명의 캐릭터가 공중에서 떨어지는 풍선을 조준해 터뜨리는 슈고 페스타 ‘팡팡팡’도 만나볼 수 있다.
