(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구시설관리공단(이하 ‘공단’)이 22일, 공영주차장 이용객의 편의 증진과 지역 상권 활성화를 위해 2026년 2월부터 주차요금 웹할인 서비스 본격 운영한다고 밝혔다.
공단에 따르면, 이번 웹할인 서비스는 2월 2일부터 부개1차, 부개2차, 삼산해돋이, 갈산역, 십정동643번지 등 공영주차장 5개소에서 순차 운영된다.
인근 상점을 이용한 고객의 차량번호를 상점에서 등록하면 PC나 모바일을 통해 주차요금 할인이 자동 적용되는 방식이다.
이를 통해 이용객은 상점에서 차량번호만 등록하면 별도의 주차권 없이도 주차요금 할인을 받을 수 있어 공영주차장 이용이 한층 간편해질 것으로 기대된다.
웹할인 주차요금은 30분 할인권 기준 400원에서 600원 수준이며, 종이 주차권을 사용하지 않는 웹 기반 운영으로 친환경 경영 실천에도 기여할 전망이다.
공단은 2025년 10월부터 부개2차 공영주차장을 대상으로 시범운영을 실시해 시스템 안정성을 검증했다.
공단은 이를 바탕으로 운영 대상을 확대했다.
향후 부평구 내 주요 상권 인근 공영주차장을 중심으로 웹할인 서비스 적용을 단계적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
