의정부시 송산2동주민센터는 지난 27일 센터 회의실에서 지역사회보장협의체 신규 위원들을 대상으로 역량 강화를 위한 ‘2026년 새싹위원 배움뜰’ 교육을 실시했다고 29일 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 갓 위촉된 신규 위원들을 파릇파릇한 ‘새싹위원’으로 명명하고, 이들이 지역 인적 안전망의 핵심 주체로서 책임감을 갖고 활동할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 마련됐다.
교육은 의정부시지역사회보장협의체 전문 강사가 진행을 맡아, 협의체의 법적 근거와 기능, 위원의 역할 등을 알기 쉽게 설명했다. 특히 복지 사각지대 발굴 방법과 실제 현장에서 필요한 자원 연계 노하우를 사례 중심으로 공유해 참석자들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.
황보경 송산2동장은 “협의체 활동의 첫 단추는 제도를 정확히 이해하고 자신의 역할을 인식하는 것”이라며 “이번 배움뜰 교육이 단순한 지식 전달을 넘어, 현장에서 어려운 이웃을 돕는 실질적인 실천으로 이어지길 기대한다”고 말했다.
