【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군은 기후 위기 대응과 탄소중립 실현을 위해 군민이 직접 참여하는 ‘2026년 생거진천 에코머니 사업’을 오는 2월부터 본격 추진한다고 29일 밝혔다.
해당 사업은 ‘탄소중립·녹색성장 기본법’에 근거해 추진되는 생활밀착형 탄소 저감 실천 사업으로, 군민 누구나 일상 속 친환경 활동에 참여하고 그에 따른 보상을 받을 수 있도록 마련됐다.
기후 위기 극복을 위해서는 제도 중심의 정책을 넘어 군민 개개인의 인식 전환과 생활 속 실천이 중요하다는 점에서 큰 의미를 지닌다.
‘2026년 생거진천 에코머니 사업’은 오는 2월 1일부터 11월 30일까지 운영되며, 진천군민이라면 누구나 휴대전화를 통해 간편하게 참여할 수 있다.
참여자는 △플로깅 △대중교통 이용 △만보 걷기 △텀블러 사용△분리배출 등 친환경 활동을 사진으로 인증하면 활동 난이도에 따라 포인트를 적립 받을 수 있다.
부여된 포인트는 적립 순위에 따라 활동 인센티브를 지급하며, 매월 상위 약 74명에게 5천 원 상당의 모바일 교환권이 발송된다.
사업 기간 누적 포인트가 5천 점 이상인 우수 활동자 상위 10명에게는 연말에 총 110만 원 상당의 진천사랑상품권(모바일)이 차등 지급될 예정이다.
군은 이번 사업을 통해 군민들이 일상에서 쉽게 실천할 수 있는 친환경 행동을 확산하고, 인센티브 제공을 통해 자발적인 참여가 이뤄질 것으로 기대하고 있다.
