서산시 “수도권 생활폐기물, 자원회수시설 반입은 구조적으로 불가능”

충남 서산시가 최근 온라인상에서 제기된 ‘수도권 생활폐기물의 자원회수시설 반입설’에 대해 “사실무근이며, 구조적으로 불가능한 일”이라고 30일 밝혔다.

서산시에 따르면 일부 커뮤니티 중심으로 ‘수도권에서 발생한 쓰레기가 서산 자원회수시설에서 처리되고 있다’는 의혹이 확산되고 있으나, 실제로 자원회수시설에는 서산시와 당진시에서 위탁한 생활폐기물 수집·운반 차량만이 출입할 수 있다.
