[브레이크뉴스 동두천=김완영 기자] 경기도 동두천시는 시청 전산실과 통신실 내에 설치돼 있던 무정전전원장치(UPS) 배터리를 별도의 전용 공간으로 이전 설치해 화재예방과 비상대응 체계를 한층 강화했다고 29일 밝혔다.
이번 조치는 화재 발생 시 전산·통신 장애로 인한 행정서비스 중단을 사전에 예방하기 위한 것으로, 시청 본관 3층에 방화문을 갖춘 독립 공간을 마련해 추진됐다. 이를 통해 정보화 기반 시설의 안정적인 운영 환경을 확보하고, 행정 업무의 연속성과 신뢰성을 높일 것으로 기대된다.
