이번 행사는 군정의 핵심 가치와 지역 현안을 주민들과 직접 소통하며, 현장의 목소리를 향후 정책에 반영하기 위해 마련됐다.
이재영 군수는 이날 △신동리지구 농촌공간정비 △복합문화예술회관 건립 △공공임대형 지식산업센터 건립 △제3일반산업단지 조성 등 굵직한 사업을 통한 지역 발전 청사진을 제시했다.
특히 이 군수는 전국적인 모범 사례로 주목받은 ‘증평형 노인복지 모델’과 ‘통합돌봄 시스템’을 언급하며 “복지는 시혜가 아니라 군민의 당연한 권리”라고 강조했다.
이러한 돌봄 체계를 더욱 고도화해 주민들의 정책 체감도를 더욱 높이겠다는 약속도 덧붙였다.
