점검단은 관광객들의 발길이 잦은 수변 산책로의 결빙 상태와 미끄럼 사고 위험 구간을 면밀히 살폈다. 특히, 해빙기 안전사고 우려가 있는 호수 빙판의 균열 여부와 진입 통제 시설, 추락 방지용 안전 울타리의 견고성 등을 집중 점검하며 '안전 사각지대' 해소에 주력했다.
