[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 국립창원대학교가 폴란드 육군사관학교와 손잡고, 방산 특화 도시 창원의 산업 역량을 세계 무대로 확장하는 ‘글로벌 산학협력’의 교두보를 마련했다.
국립창원대는 5일 폴란드 육군사관학교(General Tadeusz Kościuszko Military University of Land Forces) 대표단이 대학을 공식 방문해 캠퍼스 주요 시설을 참관하고, 방산 분야의 실질적인 협력 방안을 심도 있게 논의했다고 밝혔다.
이번 방문은 박민원 총장이 최근 폴란드 현지 출장에서 거둔 방산 협력 성과를 구체화하는 ‘후속 조치’ 성격으로 추진됐다. 창원의 지역 산업적 특성을 글로벌 네트워크와 연결하는 새로운 산학협력 모델을 제시했다는 점에서 의미가 깊다.
