특히 양 기관은 이번 협약을 통해 지역 내 취약계층 720가구에 방연마스크와 자동소화패치을 보급하고, 향후에도 협력 체계를 유지해 주거 안전 사각지대를 지속적으로 해소해 나갈 계획이다.
군은 협약 체결 직후 소방안전용품 구매 절차에 착수해 올해 상반기 내 대상 가구에 대한 보급을 완료할 방침이다.
손덕주 서장은 “군청과의 긴밀한 협력을 통해 화재 취약계층의 골든타임을 확보하고, 군민이 안심하고 생활할 수 있는 환경을 조성하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
군 관계자는 “안전은 군정의 최우선 가치이며, 이번 협약이 우리 군의 안전 지수를 한 단계 높이는 계기가 될 것”이라며 “단 한 명의 군민도 소외되지 않는 촘촘한 안전 복지를 실현하겠다”고 말했다.
