【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 9일 진천군 소재 의료법인가은의료재단 혁신성모병원과 퇴원환자의 안정적인 지역사회 복귀와 의료-돌봄 지원을 위한 ‘퇴원환자 지역사회 연계사업 업무협약’을 체결했다.
이번 협약은 의료기관 퇴원 이후 돌봄 공백이 발생하기 쉬운 어르신과 심한장애인(지체·뇌병변)을 대상으로 의료-돌봄 서비스가 지역사회에서 유기적으로 연계될 수 있도록 협력체계를 구축하기 위해 마련됐다.
협약에 따라 음성군은 퇴원환자 중 돌봄이 필요한 대상자를 발굴해 지역 내 자원을 통합적으로 연계하고, 혁신성모병원은 퇴원 과정에서 지역사회 연계가 필요한 환자를 조기에 발굴해 음성군에 연계하는 역할을 수행하게 된다.
정병헌 가족행복과장은 “이번 협약은 병원 퇴원 이후에도 지역사회 안에서 필요한 돌봄과 지원이 끊기지 않도록 하는 데 의미가 있다”며 “앞으로도 의료기관과의 협력을 확대해 음성군 통합돌봄 지원체계를 더욱 촘촘히 구축해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
한편 군은 앞으로도 지역 의료기관과의 협력을 통해 퇴원환자 지역사회 연계사업을 강화하고, 취약계층이 살던 곳에서 건강한 삶을 이어갈 수 있도록 통합돌봄 정책을 지속 추진할 계획이다.
