설 명절을 앞두고 많은 인파가 몰리는 전통시장의 화재 예방과 시민 안전을 위해 대전시가 대대적인 점검과 캠페인에 나섰다.
이장우 대전시장은 11일 주요 전통시장을 직접 찾아 유관기관 및 시민단체와 함께 민·관 합동 안전점검을 실시하며 현장 행정을 펼쳤다.
이번 점검은 명절 전후로 발생 빈도가 높은 화재와 가스·전기 사고를 선제적으로 차단하기 위해 마련됐다. 행사에는 대전시와 자치구, 소방서 관계자는 물론 안전문화운동 추진협의회 소속 시민단체 등 30여 명이 참여해 전문성과 실효성을 높였다.
