<브레이크뉴스 포천 = 이용하 기자> (재)포천문화관광재단이 지역 아동·청소년들을 차세대 K-컬처 주역으로 육성하기 위한 첫걸음을 뗀다.
재단은 오는 25일 포천38문화예술창작소에서 ‘2026 꿈의 극단 포천’ 교육설명회를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
‘꿈의 극단’은 문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국문화예술교육진흥원이 주관하는 문화예술교육 지원사업으로, 아이들이 연극 활동을 통해 협동심과 자존감을 기르고 건강한 공동체 일원으로 성장하도록 돕는 프로그램이다.
특히 이번 ‘2026 꿈의 극단 포천’은 기존의 서양식 연극 교육에서 벗어나, 한국 고유의 소리와 춤, 악기가 어우러진 ‘국극(國劇)’을 교육 장르로 도입해 차별화를 꾀했다. 재단은 이를 통해 지역 청소년들이 전통예술의 가치를 재발견하고, 창의적인 예술 감수성을 함양할 수 있도록 지원할 방침이다.
이번 설명회는 본격적인 제1기 단원 모집에 앞서 학부모와 시민들에게 사업의 취지와 세부 교육 과정을 투명하게 공개하기 위해 마련됐다. 현장에서는 ▲국극 특화 교육 커리큘럼 소개 ▲연간 운영 일정 안내 ▲단원 선발 기준 및 신청 방법 등이 상세히 안내되며, 질의응답 시간을 통해 학부모들의 궁금증을 해소할 예정이다.
